A new spark

I may well be the first person in Lake Worth to have done this.

I’ve watched Mari Kon on Ted Talk on Google Talk on Good Morning America and thought I need this,

I need clarity in my life.  Been stuck since, well, two years now.  Finally a large box full of letters that were post marked 2.5 years ago, worn by moving and damaged by rain, unopened gave me the urge. With my friend visiting

I proposed we tackle this project.  She happened to have a bag of kids clothes in her car. serendipity!  Sheri my friend had just finished an arduous job doing some ones bathroom in concrete faux finish, the hottest trend in Miami.  So our beach is always   a welcoming respite.    It was a bit of a shock.  Some clothes felt like old friends meant to be together.  Anything with stains went in the trash, OUT.   Lucky, my friend knew some clothing were not my personality,

testing, yes, they actually can stand up

here is one i used to roll and it does take more space than the one folded standing up

Some I could not justify had no idea I even owned them.  Yes duplicates of t shirts.   It was hard to let go of some, but if they did not “spark joy”.  Sheri my friend was there and championed the effort.  After all she had a bag of kids clothes to give away.IMG_20160725_134556449  Now my large bag of gently used, abused wardrobe will benefit someone else.  The 10 bathing suit wardrobe well they remain as I love Lake Worth Beach and visit it as often as possible some days twice.  Prior to moving here I owned one Bikini,  OK have not tackled phase two, which is supposed to be books, however, as I will have a Little Free Library up soon.  They will go there.  Even my personal stash of books needs to be going through.  Here is the new location of the Farm workers council.  I went to the old address and found myself at the Lake Worth Herald. IMG_20160725_134809944_HDR They redirected me.  Rosalinda the other  case-workers  accepted our donations graciously.  With this new “Spark of Joy” i may see more sunrises and get in some early swims.
