Adult Art Camp

Make your reservation now!  Yes,  6:30 – 8 pm one and half hours of creative fun, relaxation for the next six Thursdays  at Lake Worth Art League  604 Lucerne Ave.   We have heard how expensive classes are and we at the LWAL have crafted this for our community.  Did you really have the bucks to spend $200 for less than 4 hours to make a cacti terrarium.?  After our R and R and fun head out to the local* establishments with your new-found friends and neighbors.

Sign up for all six at  $100 includes materials and save.  At the end go home show of your Japanese stab binding book containing all the wonderful things you created.

This gelli printing alone  could cost you close to 50 bucks.  We make it easy, all the materials are included in all the fun classes. It’s $15 per class plus $2 material fees. if you just want to do one session.  If you sign up for all six save $20 on the entire sessions.       The following Thursday July 28, Collage.    We created this as we know you the adult should nurture the child inside. FullSizeRender You’ve sent your kids to camp now a little something  for you.  LWAL is offering the fun of creating and learning about different art forms in our gallery.   Later on some rainy day or sick day you can share with your child.  How are we doing this so reasonably, Our artists are doing this on a volunteer basis to introduce you to our 75 year young organization. Come visit the gallery and by all means support your local artists.

August 4th Mail Art and if you want a preview,  we have a collection of mail art in our Historical Museum as does the  Metropolitan Museum on-line.   * SWC will honor our Adult Art Camp patricipants with happy hour prices after 8 p.m.  Nice neighbor to have.

A former Unite Press International photographer. Spent 9 years with Cruise Ship Photos of London. Moved to Lake Worth from Coconut Grove, with artist husband Fred Hunt. Never leaves the house without a camera. Writes another blog "One Ear Society" dealing with the ins and outs of the art world. Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
