Lake Worth Art League  is dedicated to promoting  all the arts in our community; providing education in the arts to the citizens and visitors of Lake Worth ensuring local artists and artisans have opportunities to display their skills and work: and preserving the art of the area for future generations.  Here is one opportunity open to all the Photographers of Palm Beach  County. 

Lake Worth Art League and PNCBank Lake Worth have joined forces to exhibit your work. The criteria.

  • You may submit up to two images.
  • all about Lake Worth
  • Size  framed to 11x 14
  • matted in white
  • framed in Black
  • up to 2 images for $25
  • Submission take-in May 1 & 2 noon to 7 p.m. at 604 Lucerne Ave. LWAL
  • Selection made by your peers, the top 20 picks, will be exhibited in the PNC Bank with a hosted reception  Friday May 6, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.  during Evening on the Ave.
  • All others will be exhibited in private space in LWAL gallery with joint reception on  Sunday May 8th  3 – 5 p.m.    any question address them to

From the Editor:  The process film or digital in this age no longer matters.  It is your vision through the lens.  Having come from a photo background, published in Rolling Stone and Time Magazine and the defunct United Press International,  I wish I could participate.  However I will be one of the selection committee.  This is wide open other than it must have been taken in Lake Worth.    35% to gallery if sold.  Bon chance !

A former Unite Press International photographer. Spent 9 years with Cruise Ship Photos of London. Moved to Lake Worth from Coconut Grove, with artist husband Fred Hunt. Never leaves the house without a camera. Writes another blog "One Ear Society" dealing with the ins and outs of the art world. Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
