National Letter writing month APRIL

Ever since Benjamin Franklin became America’s first Postmaster General, many of our most important messages arrived inside an envelope.
Now I  challenge all of Lake Worth and my friends afar  to design the outside of an envelope to highlight this month with whatever kind of communication inspires your imagination.  DSCN0247This is a great month to do it in.  As the USPS asks us to send a letter, a card, a  newspaper clipping.  How about that thank you letter for your XMas gifts.  about time, don’t you think,? With your birthday not so far away                                                                                  Not so very long ago the City of Lake Worth turned 100  in 2013 during our Centennial we received mail from around the globe to help commemorate this important turning point in Lake Worth.  That gift of recognition via mail can be seen, on request at our Lake Worth Historical Museum.
