hopefully the chill is gone

The Sun just decided to perk so what to do since last night was a wash.  Head out for breath of fresh air and visit our Green Market it opens at 8 a.m.    DSCN4313Been There how about you check out Sunset Ridge  neighborhood a community wide Rummage sale.  While tooling though there check out the Mockingbird garden and            PickleBall  courts.  All part of Sunset Ridge NA    one day only. 1975050_628341413971615_2464768730927072537_nWere you aware that our Olympic size pool is heated  get a workout with Sally Welsh .

For the ARTists reading this and feeling stuck there is a free presentation at the Lake Worth Art League at 604 Lucerne Ave. 11:00 a.m   this applies to all the arts.  Writers, photographers, painters.  that awful cold spell.

Sunday curl up with a good book in a sunny spot.  *    at 4:pm the two – day MLK Events start and they are all free to the public.

Musical/Theatrical Tribute to Fannie Lou Hamer at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church,by a national touring company.  I’ve seen it this is well done and a joy.images

.  The other St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church  South E st. and 10th Ave. south.  a Wonderful way to say grace in the morning and start your day.

5:00 p.m.  gather at the Lake Worth City Hall and walk along with kids and veterans and survivors to the Cultural Plaza a Tribute the Freedom Marchers and all those who marched through all of Atlanta following the funeral cortege.

5:30  The Cultural plaza will welcome the candle lit procession and there will be a Rededication of MLK Memorial Fountain.

There after those ceremonies everyone is invited for a Fellowship Dinner the dedication on the cultural plaza.  Location is HIGH Point Church  M st and 2nd Ave. South  Monday is an important day here in Lake Worth.DSCN5078
