The Parade was almost 2 hours and well received by everyone who crowded downtown to have a good look. Some empty chairs were already reserving spots as early as four in the afternoon. After the parade, I was the person entrusted to secure a seat at Dave’s, no mean feat as last year we never got in. So here we are with our English guests giving them an insiders appreciation of what is cool, about Lake Worth Beach.
There was a lot of table hopping. We the Peddlers got 9 ladies dancing, the adjacent booth had 8 maids a milking. So.we teamed up and to be honest we did not have to be loud, we had the professional voices and we were in tune. Next year we are for hire. Lots of photos have surfaced on FB one such was a video of the peddlers in the parade 40 strong captured by Jim Finnegan, Tom Johnson a professional shooter captured us, thanks guys. Leonard Bryant has lots of great photos out there and surfaces at most of the events (even the Bryant Park tree lighting of last night last photo on this post) So our revelry continued and Sunday saw the Holiday Art Reception at the Lake Worth Art League.
So keep on supporting our local Artists in Lake Worth. This coming week till Christmas the LWAL will have special holiday hours from 6-8 or by appt. beside the normal hours. Then en rout to the Lake Worth Sailing Club whose Sunday sail got canceled due to 30 knot winds.
It was so fierce it blew down the fence at our Shuffleboard courts Oh out of sight out of mind, not quite. Then to end the 48 hours here in Lake Worth Beach there was that magnificent rainbow after a brief shower. Greg Rice’s was awesome on FB and this was mine with some raindrops on the lens.
