Calling all artists be a part of this

Lake Worth phenomena.  Come one come all bring some brushes. and be a part of something so awesome that it’s hard to put in words.                                                              Once upon a time there was this dynamic young woman who came to Lake Worth Beach with her lovely husband and charming young daughter.  They embraced life in our quirky little town and brought with them some outrageous ideas never seen  or heard here.

imgres She started to respond to our FB page “Lake Worth Local” and mentioned something they had in BAy View MW,   Also another new resident aka the mermaid read this FB post with interest. Now everyone knows Mermaids only hang out with sailors. and artsy farts people.

So thirsty for knowledge and always up for a fun project.  She hurled her pitched siren song into the air to the Lake Worth Sailing Club.  Because they know how to build things and survive  on their skills.  Two of the swabs responded and that was how the little Free Libraries came to Lake Worth Beach.

The beginning Ted Johnson, AnnaMaria Windisch Hunt, Dean Sherwin in that order.

They worked together and as any committee they helped each other but in the end of the day like most committees they each had to have their own.way.  lol.

Then the Lake Worth go getter, who gets things done, went and ran with the ball now everyone who wants a little Free Library can have one.  But you have to sign up and hope you’re not the last. DSCN8140

Meanwhile way across the ocean in at Southend on Seas  our friend also created a Free Little Library for her community with a great deal of success. Great ideas travel well.10407111_1183980461618720_1011739495297346129_nSo for this coming Saturday a “Call to Artist” has gone out far and wide.  Come and be a part of this awesome project.   Now if you want the straight story read the Palm Beach Post.      COME           Saturday Oct. 24  this Sat. 10 a.m.- 3 p.m.                                                                             City of LW Utility Warehouse   1900 2nd Ave. north.                                                                        you might just meet these folks mentioned in this story.

You ask, what happened to this young woman from Milwaukee she now is part of the Mommy Squad.  Our friend from South end on Sea is back in Lake Worth and does the Monday guest blog,   Dean Sherwin has undertaking authorship of a book on Lake Worth Cottages.  Ted Johnson can be found at the Information Center Fridays for a short stint then back to the wide open seas adrift with his dreams.  As to the mermaid well, she changes from one shape to another, hard to pin her down.
