Lake Worth artists you should know

We talk about our arts town and I’m in the midst of it.  Yet have not written about it.  Have a look who is creating right here in Lake Worth Beach.

Located on s. F , Benzeiten is right behind us.

Located on 216 s. F ,  and  right behind us is the Benzeiten Ctr.

For now I will call us the Clay Girls.  Some have lots of experience and have taught. Others like myself are new to this art form.

One comes from an entirely different field like mural painting, two from jewelry making myself from fine art.  All of us have this passion to get our hands into clay.  Last night was our opening reception for The Male Form. The two newest members not seen in the group photo are actual potters.  The studio does have a few guys  Tony, Art, and Pedro and Todd.  We all work at our own pace and on our own schedule as The Flamingo Clay Studio is a Co-Operative space. DSCN8784 DSCN8794

Last night was a good opening despite the weather and despite being blocked off from the Main thoroughfare of Lake Ave. So we have another special evening planned for this coming Friday.  with NEW pcs. not seen before.   If your reading this consider yourself invited.  Come meet the artists in person.  From left to right of the group photo

Way in over my head.  So excited to be among these talented ladies willing to share their knowledge.  And they have never seen the likes of me.  lol.  If this intrigues you by all means contact someone at the gallery at 15 s J street or at the studio 216 s F to join.   All of them have Face Book pages where you can see more of their ongoing creations.
