A  leisure ride to take a way the stress of the day. We are not a spandex group

IMG_2628MAY DAY  MAY 1, 2015  Friday     This is down the road a bit at the FAU Campus in the Wiberly Library 3 rd fl.   Join Director John Cutrone (LW resident) as he puts out cookies, coffee, tea along with the ephemera for your pleasure.  Pens, good smelling inks etc. Starts at 3 p.m. and finishes at 6 p.m.  All you need bring is your address book.  He even has the latest postal stamps. Suggest donation $10  Hello  Mothers Day  coming!

Saturday May 2, 2015   something to look forward to is the 1st Saturday FREE at the Norton Museum to all residents of Palm Beach Co.  Something for almost everyone.  Saturday May 2,  DERBY DAY PARTY the other most popular fundraising event presented by a neighborhood, the folks of the Bryant Park.  LADIES wear some awesome hats or what might be considered one,  GENTS your most fabulous outrageous shirt, in which, no one want to be seen with you.  Lots of fun and prizes and the ticket is a reasonable $15 Event is held at SouthShores Gastro Pub DSCN6737DSCN6734 DSCN9189

Sunday May 3,  CRIME WALK  meet at City hall.  Lake Worth neighbors along with   the PBSO  meet at 4:30p  at intersection of Lake Ave and Dixie Hwy, and walk at 5pm.   We will walk local streets and alleys streets in the surrounding neighborhoods.  We will discuss our concerns and document with pictures or notes.  “Making the Call y’all”, we hope to make a difference!

 A second Crime Walk will be held on May 17th same time, more details to follow.

Sunday  May 3,  Sunday May 3,  SING OUT  The Pete Seeger Tribute. Held at the Mockingbird Gardens  2000 n D st.  Scottish  Rite Masonic Temple.   Check out the list of performers, all have at one point or another played with Pete.  This is one of those Do Not Miss $5 at the door.  bring blanket, chair and let your hair down.  Pot Luck share.  Put together by our own consummate pair of singer songwriters Mel and Vinnie who performed  with Pete Seeger for many years. 10414877_466746176823852_4570052487754874427_n

Sunrise at our beach this weekend. approximately 6:30 a.m.  Grab a cup of coffee, remember your friends the seagulls bring them some morsels.     Have an awesome weekend.
