a tie, the supreme court, music

What do those things have to do with one another?   One of those lovely days where the rain held off for the perfect day in Paradise.   When things come together as they should where air flows or ocean currents meet, a convergence in Lake Worth Beach!                      My first photo of the day, this exquisite blossom.  I took many but the first one was this one.  You’ll never see this ifDSCN6302you stay in your car, most likely miss on a bike.  Walk and enjoy the Magnolia blossoms.    Earth Day was celebrated downtown Lake Worth Beach on our Cultural Plaza all day.  The  Tree Give -a- way started the days events. DSCN6299

DSCN6328It was truly remarkable that we had Mel and Vinny perform as they worked hard to save the Hudson River with Pete Seeger, year after year.  Now you can swim in the Hudson once more.  I always find myself saying we have so much talent here in Lake Worth Beach.

A quick trip to  Chase the Fox for a little black hat and consult on a piece of art.  Their last day, to shop anything there, is Tuesday.  Adios  They are not going out of business they are opting for another lifestyle so don’t ask for that extra discount.  What is left will go to Peggy Adams for their future fund-raising.  Nice way to go out.  (i have a screen just like the one pictured below in white)

Attorney Betty Resch of Downtown Jewel neighborhood.   imgresOur neighbor, a friend in need,  rescuer of four-footed and other creatures.  Not sure how to introduce this type of accolade, just awesome.  Betty Resch is being inducted into the United States Supreme Court.  Which means she can present a case and argue it at the Supreme Court,  WOW        Congratulations!

Mayor Pam Triolo of Lake Worth Fl.

First Impressions Creative Services operated by our Mayor Pam Triolo  affectionately known in households as “Mayor Pam”

Has just garnered  two more media prizes to add to those already on her wall.  Remember the Callero Steak House add, we all saw it, that’s one.   What does her peer group have to say about this talent.

” She is very talented and is well suited as a leader” “no matter the size of the project and budget she always delivers on time, on-budget and beyond expectations”  quotes from the men she’s worked with .

Earth Day activities lasted into the night with one band after another till 9:00 p.m.  Dinner time slowed a bit but picked up once more with music.
