This is no ordinary weekend in the City of Lake Worth or affectionately known as Lake Worth Beach. Where ever you live in the city limits, you can walk to the beach and all its activities. Just about every street has a bike lane. The Street Painting Festival is one of the largest in the United States. A major undertaking and manned by volunteer citizens.
The Cottages of Lake Worth have put together a self guided tour of some of the best of the 1,000 Cottages in Lake Worth. Pick up a map at our NEW Information Center pictured in photo above, the Annex Building They will be open from 10 – 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday and any other information you would be interested that concern living and visiting Lake Worth.
But first our weekends start with Thursdays.Thursday Feb. 19, Ride your bike with the Thursday Night Peddlers. There are bikes for rent at the bike shops. Meet up at Gulfstream Hotel 5:30 and the ride at 6 p.m. heading south first along the inter-coastal. (gorgeous ride ) Leisure ride for all age groups. Friday Feb. 20, this is going to be a DOUBLE header. The Front Porch will be set up in its usual location in the Cultural Plaza for Friday’s Evening on the Avenue AND we have been invited to be among the fine dining and drinking establishments included in the Taste of Lake Worth event Friday night! The Front Porch will be offering a generous cup of tasty hot popcorn FOR FREE to those with Taste of Lake Worth wristbands. Hot Chocolate will also be available for sale. AND official 2015 Street Painting Festival T-Shirts will be for sale on the The Front Porch!!!! Sunday Feb. 22, There is a monthly breakfast at the Scottish Rites Center 2000 N. D Street. All you can eat, please note this time from 8 -10 Where else can you order an omelette to your taste for only $5
BIKE RIDE Thursday Night Peddlers meet up at the Cultural Plaza closest to the Library for the ride to the Mockingbird Breakfast. 8:15 and ride 8:30 breakfast is from 8 – 10 a.m. NOT till noon this time due to all the activities.

Monday Feb 23 7 p.m. at the Beach Club come meet the Candidates. This Q& A is sponsored by Bryant Park. Have questions bring them along. This past Monday the Beach Club was full to capacity and the question answer period to short. Video shows an introduction of Candidates to an overflow room.
