Trying to cover the basis for those who are interested in seeing and supporting the arts in our area.  Some are mentioned in blogs, others on FB but no one seems to have a comprehensive list, especially where you would expect it.   If you know of an event that is not mentioned please feel free to contact me to correct the omission.     DSCN4129                    Wednesday January 21.  Opening of ART Palm Beach  7 p.m.   First view, Collectors Invitational means dress up and have an invite.  ( more for people watching. )                                                Public Hours    Thur, Jan 22 -­ 12pm -­ 7pm     Fri, Jan 23 ­- 12pm ­- 7pm     Sat, Jan 24 -­ 12pm -­ 7p    Sun, Jan 25 ­- 12pm -­ 6pm  Tickets prices DSCF6358Wed. 21st,  10 p.m.  Be at the Lake Worth Playhouse  Special presentation of Barmageddon video done  here in Lake Worth  a take over by a casual Jupiter Bar versus our Suri bar and what happened. FREE open to the public.  password   “lake worth every minute” 🙂                                                                                                                                      Thursday January 22,   Thursday night peddlers ride leaving Gulfstream Hotel at 6 p.m. sharp meet up 5:30   nice leisure ride through the loveliest parts of Lake Worth.  Have lights as it gets dark early.  nightbikeOpen to the public, join in or drop out where ever is convenient. After the ride gather at South Shores for Mel and Vinnie performance ( they are part of the Thursday Night peddlers) due to scheduled performance, we go to them.  

Friday January 23,   Lake Worth Beach   Bonfire on the Beach   grab the kids, marshmallows, there is a special small fire pit just for the little ones.  Always a great community gathering. imgres

Friday January 23,  Benzaiten Center Opening  at 1105 Second Ave.  7 – 10:00 p.m.  do not use GPS to find that address  per their website.  use my directions belowPublic-Grand-Opening (look for 216 s F now that you found that address,  a warehouse studio belonging to Clay Glass Metal Stone ,go behind this building east) (you might be able to cut through????) best to park on s F and walk in.   Public viewing  Sat  2- 5 p.m. with demonstrations.               Saturday January 24,  Farmers Market  9 a.m.- noon   Old Bridge Park pick up some flower, fresh produce, juice bar available and coffee.DSCN2231

Saturday a.m.  Be good Do Good volunteers needed for an hour or more and help the Royal Poinciana neighborhood  clean up F st.imgres-1 (now why it wasn’t done the week before for the opening of the Benzeiten Opening is beyond me. )* Meet at 408 s E  everything will be supplied.  Thanks in advance for your participation. DSCN2231

afternoon head to our beautiful beach get a tan and rest up for the evening out.  Don’t like sand in your shoes,  there is an Olympic Size swimming pool out there also. DSCN2205

Saturday JaN. 24,  SUPPORT  the Cottages of Lake Worth  local effort to promote our unique 1,000 plus Cottages in Lake Worth Beach.  Get a ticket to the Paella Dinner.  This is a fundraiser  best to call the number to reserve your spot. image002

Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
