Yesterday was one full day of activities in Lake Worth Beach for young and old alike. We have the largest night-time Holiday Parade, it lasted one and half hours of music lights, marching bands and ofourse the finale was Santa and Mrs. Claus. Activities started in the Cultural Plaza at noon with the much-anticipated Bike Give A Way at 3;30 The Lake Worth Recreation Advisory committee gave away 30 some bikes and Kiwanis had an abundant amount of activities to keep the kids busy. Kawanis had several areas that allowed all the children to make ornaments, or assemble the kits from Home Depot. This holiday would not be complete without the appearance of Wes Blackman reading The Gringe who Stole Christmas. Santa and Mrs. Clause were available for photos. Here are a few photos highlighting the days events. You can see the entire unexpurgated days happening from beginning to end in two albums on face book. At AnnaMaria Windisch-Hunt fb page under album title xmasPARADE14 and bike-give-away. Should you have been out and about or in the parade you’ll know someone in these photos.
