Author Author ….. Lake Worth

One of the largest book fairs in this country is just aimgres-1 one hour train ride away and so convenient.  Lake Worth Beach is so fortunate as we have a train station. Hop on and your almost there.*   This Friday entry to the book fair is FREE.  Sat. and Sun. $8 and it will be crowded.  The Miami International Book Fair  is now in its 31st year.  If you’ve never been, it is an experience.

We could truly promote Lake Worth Beach with our  literary landmarks.  Books written about our town and  in our town, films made here on our pier (iambic pentameter) recognizing our award-winning artists.  Such possibilities to promote Lake Worth Beach .  We may not have hotels but with the Cottages of Lake Worth ( they are working on a coffee table book)  and the award-winning artists, we should be on  quite a few bucket lists.  Then of course we have our share of nowbirds who spend time here writing.  This is about our authors who we rub elbows with in our daily lives. If I missed to mention any other penmen/women  living among us, please let me know.images-2

Just musing about how many authors we have in Lake Worth.  I’ve written about our award-winning artists and there are many. However,  never touched on the literary arts.  This list of Lake Worth Authors may surprise you.  We all know that Ted Brownstein has made quite a number of appearances for his Jewell book. His “Sunshine Republic” is  now also available on Kindel.   Chris Brownstein, yes related has “Along the Shore Path” a collection of short stories.  Have been told there are two more books penned by her.

Living in Tropical Ridge we have Joseph M.  FurnerLiving Well:Caring Enough To Do What’s Right a Guide to a Great Life and World.  This book I purchased at Andy’s shop . Feeling a bit mediocre this is the book .  Easy read, small paperback.  imgres-3
