The 1000 and 1 Cottages of Lake Worth

Give or take a few.  Lake Worth has an abundant supply of Cottages AND homes that do not by definition come under the category of cottage or bungalow.  Yet what they have in common is, they stand side by side on 25, “twenty five foot lots“.  What has been done with these CBstucco homes is just as amazing as what has been done to the refurbished cottages.  It’s all a matter of taste. Recently I’ve been drawn back into the Cottages via volunteer/helper so again my eyes have refocused on to those gems.

not a "cottage" but i kay cute.

not a “cottage” but i kay cute.

One can just see the adjacent property lines in this photo.  This, I came upon in the Royal Poinciana neighborhood, the future arts district of Lake Worth.  As a matter of fact this particular stunning piece of property is 500 yards from the  future Benzaiten Center opening in 2015.  Clay Glass Metal  Stone Gallery happens to be directly across from this beauty.  Clay Glass Metal Stone’s artist work space should be open for artists before Christmas.  What a bit of creativity and taste can do.  In Mango Grove neighborhood there is this property, another one of those “oh my god, how cute is that”. and a  CBStucco and on a 25 ft lot.  This one  is engulfed in tropical foliage.  Hard to take a photo but you can see the front garden dining area in the video “Feels Like Home to Me”  just when the lyrics say “just look around” 0:21  Awesome.  DSCN5951Then we have our real cottages seen below, square footage is the same, just depends are you living inside or outside with an out-door shower. DSCN0034 This is Lake Worth Beach after all.  Paradise   There is a color version of this one but when you read this it might be Throw back Thursday.  🙂 and this one below is also for sale. DSCN1556
