Take your bike for a ride this evening with the Thursday Night Peddlers.  A leisure ride for the entire family, see some of the loveliest homes in Lake Worth.  They meet up at Bryant Park parking lot across from the Gulfstream Hotel 5:30 ride 6p.m. (NOTE this is a half hour earlier than summer rides)image copy 2Friday Nov. 7.  8 a.m.  support the efforts of this Lake Worth Towers fund raiser via their annual Rummage Sale.  both Friday AND Saturday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. 

Friday Nov. 7  Something Special 3 – 6 P.M.  at FAU administered by John Cutrone one of our residents    REAL MAIL FRIDAY   A wonderful way to spend one day per month writing letters, notes, cards .  “A letter is a blessing, a great and all-too-rare privilege that can turn a private moment into an exalted experience” Alexandera Stoddard   Donations requested coffee and cookies served.  Try out some beautiful pens, inks and stationary.  All you need bring is your address book.  WIFI for you moderns who have everything on computers now.

  Friday Nov. 7  Come to our Cultural Plaza right across from our Lake Worth Library  Evening on the Avenue  presented by the City of Lake Worth Beach*  Always with live bands, vendors, and NAPC’s Front Porch where you can rest a spell, check out what’s trending in your neighborhood.  In for a game of Scrabble or Backgammon? Saturday Nov. 8 Ocean Side Farmers Market  8 a.m – noon  The early bird gets all the fresh produce and a great cup of coffee pastries and home-made bread.  Not into coffee how about Juice from the Juice Bar.  Fresh Veggies from just outside jour city limits. NW Corner of A1A & Lake Ave.slide2

11 a.m.  Veterans Day Parade  11:00 a.m.   2:00  p.m.  Downtown Lake Worth.  Local veterans have been encouraged to ride on floats one being sponsored by McMow Art Glass contact them at   also  NAPC   check in at Evening on the Ave. Front Porch Mary Lindsey.     staging area is up Federal around the corner from Cultural Plaza.

Celebrate Veterans Day with us on Saturday November 8, 2014 at Artisans on the Ave.  We will be featuring our artists that are veterans or married to one and Palm Beach Troop Support!  Stop by before of after the LW Veterans Day parade and festivities.  Volunteers from Palm Beach Troop Support, will be on hand to accept your donations.  Open all day from 11am to 9pm.83cef7ee-f8f0-4f36-aa1b-82aabfb6fa84

NOTE  *Lake Worth Beach is what I call the place that is formally known as The City of Lake Worth, as everyone lives within 1-2 miles from the Atlantic Ocean and we have a beautiful beach, I opt for Lake Worth Beach.*
