June is swinging in

Just when you would think that things are winding down for the long lazy days of summer.  Friday on the Avenue is taking a heat break but not the rest of us.  So  those looking to do things there is plenty free.  Should there 10365815_879493712067398_527207219709181628_nbe a charge then I will post it.

6/5 Thursday Night Peddlers is always free for the entire family     and this one had an all out turnout.   They meet every Thursday weather permitting in  the parking lot of Bryant Park by the Gulf Stream Hotel.  Be there around 6 and they ride at 6:30 sharp.  See some of the loveliest areas of Lake Worth.

6/6  “Real Mail Fridays”  not in Lake Worth Albrecht_Calligraphy_Interview-4-of-20 at FAU.Glades Rd.  on the 3rd fl. of the Wimberly Library.  Who doesn’t owe a thank you note or short missive to a friend.  From 3 to 6  Come join us!  Bring your address book  Jaffe Center for Book Arts.   Once a month, always on first Friday.  $10 donation suggested.   I look forward to this. Every First Friday  leaving Bryant park by the boat ramp and riding 10 miles.  The only change to this ride will be our stopping point.  This friday will stop at South Shores Tavern and Patio Bar South Shores is hooking it up with 10% off for all Lake Worth Critical Mass riders!! meet-up 6ish rides at 7 p.m.  check safety gear and your lights.                                                                   6/6  still Friday  stay in town and wander around the bbdb9643-f431-4511-a2d2-db13c84795abopen ART GALLERIES  Clay Glass Stone on s J street is having an  art opening.  Drop by Coasters Coffee Bar across the street always some edgy art on those walls.  Artisan on the Ave. 630 Lake Ave. always a joy                             10417002_546342552142564_8252976699628305082_n   NEW art collaboration between Webber Gallery and the newly established space for Makela Art Studio they specialize in faux finishes.




 6/7    IT’S THE FIRST SATURDAY OF THE MONTH NORTON MUSEUM  FREE   Also for the next few weeks Thursday nights “Art after Dark” also free.  This Saturday from 2-3  Enhance your afternoon visit to the galleries with a 50-minute tour of the Museum Collection and certain special exhibitions.  Meet your docent in the main lobby. Norton_Lobby_Mthomas2_XCNUALXR

6/7  Saturday  Think swim  aerobics  join  Sally Welch’s exercise class at 10 a.m. at   our Municipal Swimming Pool also IMG_0141on Sunday.  If you’re in Sally’s class pay her directly $5  HERE is Sally’s number in case your interest in learn to swim for children or babies.  She also accommodates private lessons. 561-281-5086
