enjoy a Lake Worth weekend

Today Thursday May 15, DSCN9348 We know we have a bike ride because it is Thursday.  Weather permitting.  Meeting in parking lot across from Gulfstream Hotel at 6 p.m..  We ride at 6:30 always fun.  This is open to everyone as it is a leisure ride.  No expectations no competition.  Drop out at any point you want to when you get close to your home.

Cultural Council right at   DSCN2294    601 Lake Ave.  Open Saturday and Sunday for your pleasure.  hours  10 a.m. – 5  p.m.  They are also looking for volunteers to man the front desk a few hours per week.

Of Note  the Knight Foundation in Miami

1512395_10154131435780013_683784840410518500_nRecognized  the Lake Worth CRA They are finalists for the Knight Arts Challenge South Florida.  They’re exploring the connections between our Guatemalan community’s heritage and contemporary art via a performance series.  All of it will complement a new artist/live work development in Lake Worth’s LUNA Park.  Winners will be announced on December 1.  This to my knowledge, the first time that the Knights ARTS Challenge has come this far. (into Palm Beach County. )

Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
