Part Two volunteer recognition week

It’s National Volunteer week.  The many Lake Worth Residents who volunteer make our quirky town better for the rest of us.  You can see from these photos many of our volunteers appear more than once.  Random acts of kindness doesn’t even begin to describe what Lake Worth Volunteers do for our community. DSCN9237 DSCN9015 DSCN8525 DSCN8185 DSCN8093 DSCN8055 DSCN8045 DSCN8027 DSCN7966 DSCN7956 DSCN7925 DSCN7818 DSCN7701 DSCN7474 DSCN6905 DSCN6558 DSCN6069 DSCN6033 DSCN6024 DSCN5522 DSCN3393 DSCN5089 DSCN5033 DSCN4895 DSCN4757 DSCN4590 DSCN4584Mel Allan Vin and Kat DSCN4100DSC06047 DSCN2248 DSCN3422 DSCN4748 DSCN5529 DSCN6061 DSCN6126 DSCN6164 DSCN6402 DSCN6702 DSCN6888 DSCN7531

The photos depict our friends and neighbors putting in time to help, while having fun and doing good.  This is without renumeration., because it is the right thing to do.  There are still many areas that could use your help.  There are positions open on the City Advisory boards call Sylvina at City Hall.  Coming up is the Great American Clean Up, just a few hours make a big difference.  Thank you everyone.

So great to see a compilation of so many volunteers for so may causes and events. We are so lucky as a city to have so many people who work hard (unpaid) to help make this city better each year. Even though I’m a crazy busy professional, this past year I made time to help with the library book sale, parrot cove’s house tour and a beach clean up. I’m also a member if the Friends of LW Pool, although I’ve done nothing but become a member and have attended a fund raiser event.

If we all pitched in to help with one volunteer effort per year imagine what we could accomplish.
