Just another ordinary sea-side town? Not only are there 3 – 6 out-door showers per block Just about every home has one or two boas hanging in their closet. A green one for St. Paddy’s day and a rainbow one for the Gay Pride parade. Yesterday the Gay Pride’s FANTA-sea parade went off without a hitch. What we do not see when we enjoy the parade is the behind the scene hours spent by our artsy people who make it all happen. The individual interpretation of FANTA-sea by all the participating floats, was spectacular. Cheers went up from the crowds that lined the street as their favorite group passed.
Volunteers by the hundreds behind the scene hours before the parade begins and many weeks before to execute the Gay Pride Event flawlessly.
The crowd showed up lining the streets of Lake Worth. It all lead to Bryant Park where the festivities continued with headliner performers. Supporters for the LGBT community had tents and Mother Nature looked out for everyone making it just the perfect day. So many well wishers lined the parade route. In Bryant Park point the camera anywhere and there was a picture.
