Lake Worth doings this weekend

What to do this weekend here in Lake Worth and close by areas.  Thursday is the beginning of my little calendar of weekend events.  Most of what I post is free and open to all, if there is a charge it is posted.  DSCN4567

Thursday March 12,  6 p.m. meet-up for The Thursday Night Peddlers at Bryant Park parking lot ride  at 6:30  (we have more light now)  get the latest on the St. Paddy Parade participation.       This is a leisure ride through some beautiful areas of Lake Worth.     Thursday at 7 p.m.  see below1975120_10202988762227441_932381093_n

Thursday March 13,  Busy Friday  Dual Opening Reception for two organizations sharing the 15 south J street gallery.  See the Wellington Arts Society featuring 4 artists, as well as The Professional Photo Guild of Palm Beach County.Postcard

Friday March 14,  all day 🙂 check out our fabulous renovated beach and go back up north or back to school with a great tan.  DSCN1065 copy

Saturday morning  March 15,  Drop by the Ocean Side Fresh Market.  9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  get fresh coffee,  French Pastry, fresh veggies and juices.  This is a great morning outing. DSCN5677 (2) DSCN5686

Sunday  March 15 3 p.m. stop by the Lake Worth Art League for the opening reception of their NEW exhibit.

Sunday March 15, noon   St. Paddy’s Day Parade downtown Lake Worth

Sunday, March 16 at 1 PM: The 8th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Charity Parade: This green and lively event benefits Wheels For Kids.  The Parade starts on Lake Avenue.  A customized wheelchair will be donated to a child in need, at this event.dscn4928544214_423991774356962_1156163590_nDSCN5102photos from last years event.  See you on Lake Ave.  at noon.  If you think it is all over then your mistaken1393626_635253189861958_523788898_n

Monday March 17  Keep your green on.  This should really appeal to those who are in the parade and working  on Sunday so everyone can enjoy  the festivities.                      Tuesday  March 18,  Art Spirit Afternoon.  Open project encouraged. If you want some guidance it’s available we are primarily focusing on Altered Books.  Paint in them,  cut them, enhance them with personal marks .                                                                                     Is howeverimgres there is an event that I have not posted and it’s open to the public  please send that info to this blogger at Grovite1@mac.com   Input is appreciated.
