The street painting painting festival will continue today Sunday. It’s just awesome to see the beginnings of the chalk paintings, the festival is now in it’s 20th year. An Artfull day in the true sense of the word. Art was not just seem on the streets of Lake Worth . There were so many adjunct ways to enjoy art. Private parties showcasing the talent of a favorite artist, where neighbors in the Lucerne bldg. opened their adjoining units. Galleries are open along with demonstrations and of course en plein air painters spotted throught out the crowd. They paint and sketch what they see. The Hair Salon on Lucerne and L st. next to the Art League offers face painting and ” have you tried a bit of fuchsia in your hair, now is a good time“. You won’t be starred at, not in quirkey Lake Worth. The Palm Beach Cultural Council’s current exhibit open to visitors showing photography by Steve Horan.
