Random Act of Kindness

Not a random Act of Kindness but one with intent to recognize how important volunteers are to the City of Lake Worth.  Early this morning at out beautiful beach ballroom,  volunteers were serve breakfast with a good morning and a thank you. DSCN5523Recognized were the  various advisory board members, the laiason staff who give the extra time after a days work.  The Mayor, City Manager and the entire commission made sure those in attendance knew how their  many hours given freely to the city are valued. DSCN5529 DSCN5535 DSCN5515 DSCN5527 This was the 1st Annual Volunteer Appreciation Breakfast.   The fact that this week starts the “Random Act of Kindness” week could not have been a better coincidence. DSCN5539 No matter if your a snowbird, or renter, or homeowner if you have time to give, give Sylvina at City Hall a ring   561 586 1600  and offer a few of your  hours, your life experiences will be put to good use.       I serve on the Recreation Advisory Board.  Thank you Mayor,  City Commission and City Manager I appreciated this gesture

There are lots more photos on Wes Blackman’s blog who sat at the table behind me.

What a lovely way to start the day.
