Artists as Entrepreneurs

The newest business on Lake Ave. is this Gallery.  Not a new endeavor for these lady entrepreneurs, who have been in and around Lake Worth.DSCN4742

It is refreshing to see a new ART space open up.  It is primarily a 3D Gallery however they also will have some hanging art, plus space in back for classes.     I’m particularly delighted with this new venture as there has been a push to put Lake Worth out in front, where the arts are concerned.    DSCN4831 Someone attributed this to our City Manager “Palm Beach buys the art made in Lake Worth”. (not exact quote, know it? I will edit).  For a community, any community to be a hub for the arts they need to have at least 10 outlets, more is always better.    DSCN4737 One of the difficulties particularly for artists is, there is no keystone pricing (mark-up)of their lobor/vision.  Operating  co-op is a wonderful way for artists.  They are directly engaged in making decisions in the process of how their work is offered to the public.    Located at 630 Lake Ave. on the northside.  Ask about current class offerings. DSCN4830
