The excitement of it all – part 2 –

Sometimes you find yourself  just drawn into a situation.  This happened as I was photographing the Lake Worth bike-give away.  Note the two raised hands right up front.  Our Mayor Pam Triolo and Comm. Amaroso selecting raffle ticketsOur Mayor Pam Triolo and Comm. Amaroso selecting raffle tickets.  Needing a different vantage point I went on stage where I could see the entire crowd and capture the pure joy, lip and nail biting as each number was being called.  The two young ladies in front just caught my eye.   Their animation and response to the Mayors announcements made me aware that something good was about to happen.    I got drawn into their emotional ups and downs to the point that I was rooting for them.  They exuded something elusive.  All but one bike now left.  The  numbers so similar to all the others, they all came from one raffle ticket roll.  This was the very last ticket.  One by one ever so slowly Mayor Pam called the remaining number.   The pictures tell the rest.

Just prior to the much anticipated drawing the entertainment was from some very talented karaoke singers. DSCN3396DSCN33931495465_554391561316982_1421182808_n
