Lake Worth Talent

Last night the creator of Mango Groves holiday movie trailer, Sarah Winters age 10, presented @ City Hall.  I  briefly chatted with Sarah. DSCN2354  She created this  piece over a  months time on the iPad mini which she purchased with her earnings. .  The trailer was made in iMovie and  shot on location at the green EcoCentre.  She also used photos from last years Art at the Eco’s first annual  and located a few of the artist who will participate in this years event.   Her goal to attend Bak School for the Arts for communications . “It’s what I’m good at”  Sarah understands that as a resident of the Mango Groves neighborhood  she participates and assists in many of their fun events as an equal.  This is way cool!  10?

 

The four-story, 33,000-square-foot EcoCentre at 1005 Lake Ave. opened in 2008.   The green features are reused bricks that came from a demolished building in Chicago, countertops made from recycled glass and carpet made from recycled plastic. The elevator cables are lubricated with vegetable oil instead of petroleum-based lubricants. at 1005 Lake Ave. in Lake Worth.  John Szerdi the Architect  and our commissioner will give 2 tours .

The annualArt at the Eco is  Saturday! Dec. 7, 2-7 p.m.  all local artisans. No imported goods. Great family event .
