Good Morning to you, not from England but from Lake Worth! Oh, how wonderful it feels to be back and to see all my friends. image copy 11

We had, as you know a wonderful Summer in England, the weather continued to be warm and dry right up until the day we returned, you might know that we are blamed for the return of the Cool Autumnal weather which is now dominating the UK! They insist I send back the sunshine which they think I brought with me, oh dear!image copy 6

The journey back was uneventful and smooth with a quick change in New York, total time of around 17 hours. It is always better to fly into PBI, it saves friends having to go all the way to Miami to pick us up. United is a great airline, nothing too much trouble and the flight to New York was only half filled which allowed everyone to have plenty of room and at least, try to sleep….fabulous.

To see our friend at the airport was great, somehow all the jet lag washes away and we are laughing and catching up on news as if we had seen each other the day before. Four days down the road and the jet lag seems to have gone and we are now on Lake Worth time some five hours behind England.

So, what has been happening here? I keep up with the news as best I can but I love to see and hear for myself. I went to St Andrews as usual yesterday and it was lovely to see people and to have such a great welcome, and of course, get ourselves put on the brunch rota and be roped in for all sorts of occasions coming up before Christmas, I have at least six dates in my diary now for events taking place.

The casino and beach area really do look very good now! It was almost finished as I left but now is looking superb..very impressive! I do not know how many of you have been to Seasons 52 in West Palm, I was taken on Friday and it was excellent, it is so called because they change the menu according to the seasons,  another experience where everyone was so welcoming.

There are so many events coming up that need help I am sure that there will not be time for slacking….Art at The Eco is always an interesting event and one which always brings people together and I really enjoy the involvement with that, such fun for everyone and each year we are trying to outdo the last event, we shall see how that works out! I also want very much to be on some of the neighbourhood clean-ups, it always looks like a very worthwhile thing to be involved in, that is one of the things that I love most about being here……the great neighbourhood feeling.image copyimage

I have include some photos from my last week at home in  England, my garden there and my garden here, what a difference! Odd photos of a rainbow and a man looking like a rainbow, England from the air as we left, my fabulous big birthday family get together which was the best ever…….lots of memory making moments….image copy 4image copy 2

Have a great week and I hope to see you next week with all the exciting and fun things that I have been involved with here in Lake Worth……have fun!
