Eat Greek @ Farmer Girl

DSCN1243So easy to miss as we tool up or down Dixie enroute to somewhere.  On that errand we should have done days ago.    The Farmers Girl is a nondescript building on the East side on  n 18th  corner.  Definitely a case of don’t judge a book by it’s cover.  Inside Pete is always on hand for that personal greeting.  The wait staff is the very same that I first encountered four years ago and the food, just as good as first discovered.        Now we are partial to greek food since our travels there.  Always seem to be ordering the exact same thing from the menu and never a disappointment.   The Moussaka comes with the salad bar and soup made fresh daily.       I asked and Pete told me he does not work out of cans.       WOW  you can taste what’s home made.  My personal favorite is the Gyro Platter
