preping the boards for the give away

This just became the reality for a number of kids who wrote in to the Stoke Foundation. “Tell us why you deserve a free surfboard”   An ongoing project with the goal of giving away 100 boards in 10 coastal communities around the world.  Last evening Mulligans supported that effort and gave 10% of the proceeds to the Stoke Foundation.  The place was packed with families, among them was our Mayor Pam Triollo and supportive neighbors who purchased tickets for the many prizes  that were being raffled.an arms length

The event was run by high school interns who did a great job of selling the tickets preping the boards plus explaining what the foundation does. DSCN0096 Meanwhile down at the beach the swells were perfect for surfing.  Lake Worth the little town with surfing, as one patron was was overheard, comparing us to Venice Beach.
