Events galore keep this weekend going. If this is Saturday and your reading this remember you can go to the Norton Museum for free TODAYSouth Shores Tavern was the scene of the Pie Baking contest. A serious business with serious consequences. I couldn’t resist some of the reactions of the judges. But with all the many tastings they came up with winner and 2nd and 3rd place. a baker himselfcaught this photo at the right moment. “Not exactly”Blue ribbon right here and her neighbors where along to cheer her on. It was chocolate peanut butter pie.2nd place, I got to taste this one and it was primo. While that was in progress a Reception with refreshments was being held at the Art League featuring their summer exhibit. Demos inside and outside by very accomplished artists. Lucerne Ave. looked particularly lovely with bunting. Then on to the park for “Evening on the Avenue”. There was just something everywhere and everyone had a spread out.
On to Paws on the Avenue. Got the picture I came for after several tries with male customers who just could not do it. But this young lady got it right on the first try. Would you kiss a pig??? Paws drew the biggest crowd with their street closure.
The scene stealer below. Wonder if they took the this friendly dog
