Affectionately known as the Grunge Cup Race, started by Herman Robinson, has now become an annual event in Lake Worth. Neighborhoods participate in building these hand crafted (nothing manufactured allowed) vessels. This year as it is Lake Worth Florida’s 100 Birthday the theme was a 10 year era in Lake Worth’s history, chosen by lottery at City Hall for each neighborhood. Many more photos are being posted on FB and of course You Tube has the videos. As the writer of this blog was imbedded with the Mango Groves group the photos are sooo slanted. A picture is worth a thousand words, I’ll let them speak. Feed back is always welcome.
Let’s see if it’s sea worthy.
