Dog day afternoon

Some time ago I featured Milton on this blog.  Well, Maurice owner of Milton threw a bash for the areas pet owners.       DSCN8467  I was so impressed last time and didn’t think things could get better for your family pet.  Oh but they have.   This afternoon  scrumptious food catered awaited his loyal clientel.  Naturally valet was provided.  You could not drive down Lucerne Ave. without wondering what’s going on.       DSCN8472 The Spa for the dogs is now completed,  Maurice is also encouraging artists to submit animal art, to be showcased on his walls on a regular basis.          DSCN8474I knew he picked up things in Bryant Park and myself witnesed him one early morning sweeping the street infront of his beauty salon on Lake Ave. not just his front but the two adjacent spaces as well .  Now this is the kind of person you can trust your family pet to be treated gently and with care.  The party was to honor his loyal customers who haven’t left for vacation yet.     DSCN8476Music was by the Westminster Trio who set up outside next to the bar for everyone to enjoy as they sat at the cafe tables placed alongside the sidewalk for this occasion   Possably you noticed Maurice has enhanced this part of the sidewalk with green planters in front of Milton’s painted in his signature green.
