Music in the air

Saturday had music everywhere.  The cultural Plaza was full of people even though the rain threatened.  The Friends of the Library had some great bargains Books for just $1DSCN6197 DSCN6188

Manned by their many volunteers and local Author.  I got six wonderful books, one oversized that I could not read it was in Russian but had the most beautiful illustrations.  Out were the new red book carts a recent acquisition, thanks to the Friends of the Library.  Then the chairs appeared and even though the rain was imminent, no one would budge for the Rotary’sDSCN6272DSCN6277 Music Festival which started at 2 p.m.   Later I scooted over the the Record Shop, yes we have a record store in Lake Worth on s. J street.  There the place was packed and live music performed in honor of Nat’l Record Day.  I missed my favorite pair Mel and Vinnie, they hung in and  pointed out some cool new talent to listen for.  All in all a perfect day, no rain just overcast sky.  Tomorrow will be a beach day for me.. DSCN6248DSCN6227DSCN6253
