Lake Worth Beach 2013

The long awaited Beach Casino Complex opening was a bit on the breeze side.  Some people purchased long red strips of 25 cent tickets to make purchases only to find  you could only buy 2 things popcorn and the 25 cent ferris wheel ride.  Parking turned out to be free, as was the boardwalk on the Pier.   For the night before event go to Wes Blackman’s blog and see the dedication via his video.  Thanks Wes for documenting it for posterity. DSCN4027 DSCN4160 DSCN4076 DSCN4082 DSCN4046 DSCN4063 DSCN4028 DSCN4117 DSCN4126 DSCN4156 DSCN4167 DSCN4146 DSCN4084 DSCN4200 DSCN4178 DSCN4204 DSCN4086DSCN4127We all enjoyed it the brisk day.  So glad Kilwins had Hot Chocolate. advertised hot dog might have helped the chill factor, as I passed, I overheard lots of people were looking for the goodies advertised.   That ferris wheel would be a real nice addition to the beach.  I also noticed that the new building had some ornamentation that could easily accomodate a clock or two.
