Volunteers wanted

Get involved!  Volunteers have the heart and make time to help.  There are all kinds of opportunities now opening in Lake Worth.  A special office has been set up by the City of Lake Worth to facilitate and get the right people, the right fit.  Don’t miss out on the rewards you get, as you give of yourself, priceless.                                                         If you have any number of skills to assist City Staff in providing services in clerical duties, answering phones,  reading and other programs at the Library and a host of recreational program opportunities, come join the City of Lake Worth!   Contact Silvina Donaldson, Volunteer Coordinator at 561-586-1730.  All you need do is fill out an application detailing the skills you have and would like to utilize.DSCN0344If your unemployed or under-employed this might be a segue into a position, who knows.  I got my best jobs offers from volunteer positions.   Results, always spectacular because you wouldn’t do it if you didn’t enjoy it.  So whether you put put, for your health, or  enjoy our wonderful Lake Worth  Beach …just DO it make new friends.
