PHOTOfusion underway

Now in it’s 18th year, PHOTOfusion is being held at the Palm Beach Photographic Centre. In attendance photographers from N.Y. to LA  World famous photographers who’s images are well know are some of the presenters. Beginner to pro, every facet of photography and digital imaging at your fingertips   It’s such a large event that the Library as well as City Hall chambers have been engaged for this event.  Bill Eppridge is featured in the Museum  “Fifty Years in Photojournalism”  known for his stunning photos in Life Magazine.   There was a time, when deadlines had  to be met,  by editing  from the actual negative.   Some TriX pushed to the limit and printing took time.  Bill has one image in the show that took him over 2 days to get just right.                                                                                                                                      DSCN4021 A  large, personally edited selection is hanging in the Museum which is free to the public.  There will be a reception Fri. 26th, 6 p.m.  If your interested in hearing about his 50 years he will be giving a lecture, Thur. 24th  at 1 p.m.  followed by a Q & A. $10 .   In tandem with the Palm Beach Photographic Centre and FOTOfuion the Bruce Webber Gallery in Lake Worth on Lucerne is hosting a reception at the end of the month.  Thur. Never leaves the house without a camera. Writes another blog "One Ear Society" dealing with the ins and outs of the art world. Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
