Looking towards a great New Year

There are serious matters that impact us all that should be shared.  This is one I picked up from Wes Blackman’s blog.  It could  impact all of us in Lake Worth.  This is looking to the future for sure,  who here hasn’t been in or had a near miss with our annual Hurricanes.  Take a moment and read this from the N.Y.Times via a small town of 5,500 in Texas.   This week also is my favorite event of the holiday season sponsored by our CRA.  The Nightmare after Christmas if you haven’t seen it it is on the  Do nOT Miss List.1151.  First off  Thursday 5:30   Everyone with a bike is invited to ride with the Thursday night Peddlers who meet up at 5:30 at Bryant Park parking lot and resume their weekly rides 6:00 p.m. sharp.  Heading south first.

2. Evening on the Avenue takes place primarily on the Cultural Plaza but all the shops are open for business, and it’s one of those nice evenings for “Strolling on the Avenue”, seeing your neighbors out and about.   The Rrecreation Board will have their first fundraiser .  Take some change with you and buy a Hot Dog from them.  Visit the Galleries.Jan 4 20133. This Saturday and Sunday on the Cultural Plaza 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Lake Worth Art League exhibits outdoors and do it  every other weekend through the high season.

4.  Drum Roll   …….nightmare 2012Now it’s really official 5bf8b2_13da5523c7c35e837c5586d434dba190.png_srz_250_190_75_22_0.50_1.20_0
