Once upon a time, Artist Hans Feyerabend, I, Ambassador Plenipotentiary George Neary and Herr Sam Keller met at the Miami Beach Convention center discussing  bringing ArtBasel over to our shores, that was  2001.  Little did we foresee that this would catapult Miami onto the Art World Scene in such a big way.  Then collectors flew in from Houston and LA, now they come from all over the world.    Several days ago I took TriRail down and headed to the Wynnwood District an area that also did not exist several years ago.  So here is a brief synopsis via photos.  The trends were apparent.  Bling via glitter and chrome plated everyday common things.  Messages via Neon

About Lake Worth Florida by the moment the source of inspiration

A former Unite Press International photographer. Spent 9 years with Cruise Ship Photos of London. Moved to Lake Worth from Coconut Grove, with artist husband Fred Hunt. Never leaves the house without a camera. Writes another blog "One Ear Society" dealing with the ins and outs of the art world. Closed her Art Gallery in Coconut Grove after 17 years to relocate in Lake Worth.
