Another rememberance

In 1964  a Blue Star Memorial Marker was placed on N Federal Highway and 19th Ave. by the Lake Worth Garden Club.   A standing  reminder of those brave soldiers of the city who gave their lives for this country in various foreign wars.      Today it was rededicated.   For 48 years it stood sentinel through all sorts of weather and fumes of the much traveled adjacent highway.  The Blue Star now stands refurbish to its original glory.  In attendance were the many members of the Garden Club, who looks after it year in and year out.   The City of Lake Worth represented by our Mayor and Vice Mayor,  made available resources to facilitate the costly transport.  Colour guard and Soldiers from the VFW and their families all attended the rededication.
