International Artist Day

Lake Worth is still growing as an artist community.  Soon the Artists Lofts will be completed.   Tracy at the CRA is spearheading the Murals at the 1000 building.  The Shuffle Board Courts will have art installed as part of the new renovations once it gets underway.  Our artists will make an appearance at the EcoCentre The Living Building on Saturday Dec. 8th (save that date).  The Lake Worth Art League has their artists on the Cultural Plaza every other weekend.  So who are our Lake Worth artists.  Here are just a few that live in our midst.  Check them out on their web site.   Lets not forget Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery right downtown next door to the Palm Beach Cultural Council.  The artists mentioned here are all within stones throw of the Cultural Councils building, which  feature the up and coming artists not yet established but well on their way.   Today is International Artist Day.

Thank you for mentioning us. You posted today as Picasso’s birthday. I had 4 heroes as a child and I sent each one of them a birthday card every year on their birthday. Interestingly enough, three were Pauls and one was Pete: Pablo Picasso, Pablo Cassals, Paul Robeson and Pete Seeger. Pete was the only one who ever replied. Robeson was an old friend of my parents but a recluse in Philly when I started sending the cards. Joyce (CGMS Gallery) Would love to talk to you about an idea I have.
