It’s Official

The water towers of Lake Worth got their clean new paint job.  Letting everyone know we are in a centennial year.  Definitely official!

This link is updated each time the postman delivers a new work of art (Mail-Art) to City Hall.  One of the Centennial events  site, where you find chronological order of the events, as they are formalized.  The first official event posted is for November 10,  The Veterans  Day Parade,  and ends with the 4th of July  2013.  The next site I found which is more comprehensive is. PRWeb.  Now  for the the official one, it lists the Centennial Committee, sponsorship opportunities, our history and has the beautiful new logo which would have been smashing on our water tower.  Then  there is the CRA’s Lake Worth Arts which goes beyond the scheduled events and is geared to  the tourists from out of town but it’s a useful resource for the natives. Who what when and where on a weekly calendar encompasses a month.   Some rumors that will be announced  soon.  The Lake Worth Garden Club got their Blue Star highway marker back and plan a presentation in tandem with Veterans  Day.  Hold Dec. 1 the Mango Groves NA is planning their Wine tasting, Holiday gift art show on this date..  This weekend at Bryant Park  the Blues Brews and BBQ event from the Chamber of Commerce.  The Towers will have a Mail-Art workshop on the 26th it’s free but you must register.
