Key West 168 miles

“Slow down you move to fast” I’m always aware of the lovely cottages that are up and down every street in the City of Lake Worth.  The similarity to Key West is not lost on me.

I used to love photographing the details of Key West, however we are  the City of Lake Worth.   Here I find the same charming small beach town atmosphere.   If we were to have a sister city why not one that we have so much in common with.   This house was a pleasant surprise, across the front entrance was a small street sign “Duval St.”  (nostalgia) and the other sign welcoming all “Family and Friends Welcome” tucked behind a lovely Poinciana tree, as well as the directional sign,  a reminder “Key West 168 miles” that way.       Don’t know how often I’ve passed this blue and white house, each time reminding myself I have got to get a photo of this.  This time I backed up and stopped, just  lovely, not a mirage.   Who influenced who ?  Both Key West and Lake Worth are on the ocean, have a beach, they might have a few more bars.  So many similarities between the two.   The arts are live in both towns with live performances.  These cottages are on my one way street, heading north.   There are many more but I pass to quickly.
