Craving for Greek?

Venus Cafe on  Lake Ave. hasn’t even been open six months is closed for renovation?  Benny’s at the beach serves a good Greek salad.  Hands down the best authentic Greek food is at the Farmers Girl.  Moussaka is my husbands favorite dish.  Doesn’t matter if it’s state side or over there, this is the dish he orders.  See how generous this portion is and it includes the salad bar as well as soup.   Check  out the Gyro Platter at the Farmers Girl seen below.   That brings me to Thanksgiving.  Pete Roubekas the owner, has this wonderful tradition of removing the cash register on Thanksgiving Day.  Others have also been able to say thanks in their own way and participate.  Some of the food is donated by his suppliers.  This makes me think there has to be a way for us bloggers here in Lake Worth to also donate, how about some of our precious time.  Now is a good time to throw out this challenge.  We all, Wes Blackman, Moi, Mary Lindsey, Lynn Anderson and the newest blogger  and lets not forget Dee Macnamara  offer our services as waiter and waitresses to Pete and the Farmer Girl.  Best part of this is we don’t have to cook, all we would be required to do is be nice to everyone.
