PR and Marketing

Our Commissioner Andy Amoroso will be heading to New York, where “I love NY” is seen everywhere.  Here are just some samples of what he is taking to the Big Apple to make them aware of us.   Fortunately, the CRA came out with a new map of Lake Worth just in time.  It’s is up to date, colorful and well organized.   The last map published was done  5 years ago.  This is  Shameless promotion, not.  I’m referring to my post card that shows Lake Worth Pier.  I had it printed as a post card to sell.  When I learned about this trip via the grapevine. I felt it was a gesture I could afford. Gave him the bundle, if he was willing to hand them out.  After all it’s about the town I love.                                                                                               Lake Worth Beach might have attracted much more interest.  We’re in competition with other sea side communities who’s names end in beach.  Heard Davie Fl. is trying to build something like our Pier.                Just to let you know,  the GMCVB always encouraged donations of art cards and local literature which traveled to China, Australia, Hungary where ever their  FAM tour took them.   They took our cards everywhere as well as put them in the Miami Convention Center.   They liked my paintings a lot, and paid  to make them into a poster  :).  Oh, even gave me the key to Miami Beach.  Now that’s self promotion!  Hopefully with the centennial activities Lake Worth will get its share of public relations and shameless self promotion. 😉
