Lake Worth Beach

AWESOME  Words fail me and there was no camera as I was snorkeling yesterday evening around 6 p.m..  I could start with “it was a stormy night and the sea was angry my friend” classic Seinfeld.  NO, this was a perfect evening!  Low tide and the movement visible on top of the water only gentle swells, no surf.  (I have difficulty sharing my experience you had to be there).  Underwater, only five feet from shore, was teeming and I mean thousands of little silver fish.  All of them were heading south.  With the sun coming from the west they were sparkling like little diamonds.  Imagine watching a gentle rain shower that allows you to see each glistening individual raindrop.  AWESOME.  I dove right beside them and even though they were or seemed to be only 2 ft. away I could never touch one.  Totally surrounded what an experience.  I turned around and headed north and they were coming right at me,  just as illusive when i stretched out my hand to touch.  This view looking towards shore was just as awesome, with the light now behind them they were semi silhouetted. The mass of fish and the sparkle that I saw is beyond my descriptive powers.  Just had to share this.   So, I borrowed from google a couple of images but still they do no justice.  Mother nature at her finest.

Fish no larger than four inches perhaps even smaller I was struck with reverence  to take in details.
