This Saturday the 14th Royal Poinciana Neighborhood Assoc. will welcome the DeCateau Family. This is an on going project between the consortium partners via the Lake Worth CRA. Nine families have to date been placed. The signage seen throughout the area show the many stages in progress, each of these homes have qualified buyers who are currently putting in sweat equity. The public is invited to these dedications, meet the new residents to Lake Worth and tour the home after the dedication. This particular home was vetted by Habitat for Humanity. The list of all the homes and which of the organizations handles the property is here. Not difficult to see which homes they are by their beige, beigeish pink, neutral beige, beige on beige color palette. This writer would have hoped for more color on these quaint cottages. Something that is in keeping with the community identity. Once the property is owned outright the new homeowners are free to choose any color they wish. Right now they have a selection of Beige, beigeish pink, neutral beige (no such color) dusky rose and beige on beige. This always befuddled me,( 1. to confuse, as with glib statements ) when I asked about the color I was told this is what the homeowner selected. Once getting to know the home owners they would indicate that is what was offered them. The quality of workmanship and paint is so good it’s sad that it could not have been done a la Key West or Lake Worth at the get go. If anyone is paying attention this is what I mean. This is Lake Worth HAPPY ! JOYOUS !
