Lake Worth’s July 4th doings

10 Prize Baskets will be given away during the day for such things as Children’s hat contest  for the stroller contest, the list goes on.  The children’s hat contest will be held at Bee’s Knees while the adult contest is still being held at Ella’s Hat Shop.  Something happening every hour on the hour.

Start the day at Bryant Park with the Great American Raft Race around 10:30  boats take off at 11 ish.   While your visiting your favorite park, where so many activities take place, take time to vote, extra points, if done from this location. You will have your cell with you,  right?              Coca Cola is offering a $100,000 recreation grant for the best public park. Calls have gone out for volunteers to help build these rafts, cannot be store bought.   Cheer your neighborhood on!  They will not be the only vessels on the water.

The Downtown Cultural Alliance (DCA) is a non-profit association of Downtown merchants and residents working together to keep Downtown Lake Worth vibrant and welcoming.
