Iraq veteran gets home in Lake Worth

A dream come true for a single dad who retired from the armed services. The City of Lake Worth has seen nine new families make their permanent homes in Lake Worth.   Royal Poinciana is a neighborhood on the rise, their newsletter mast head reads “neighbors in paradise”  which takes on a whole new meaning for the Scott family.  Not only is Lake Worth a beach community it is also heaven sent.   The mayor did the honors, with a great number of dignitaries present for this red letter day.    The media was out in full force.   Also recognized during the ceremony were the volunteers who are working in 80 to 90 degree weather. Here are two Lake Worth High students full filling their community service hours for a brighter future while learning some very valuable skills.  An hour later the volunteers were seen on site readying the next home.
