Worthy of our attention is the annual Peeps show at Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery downtown Lake Worth.  So you’ve come downtown to see the new Palm Beach Cultural Council and its Sunday, your day with the family.  Don’t dispair go two doors west and you find the c0-op gallery open and inviting.  You will always find in attendance one of the exhibiting artists that will guide you in the multiple disciplines exhibited here. Don’t know much about peeps it’s fun, and I think edible.

The gallery has just gone through some rearranging.  Go see the works of the new artists who’ve joined this co-op.  This is a very friendly art space.                                                 “The arts should be a part of everyday life. Whether it’s seeing a performance, visiting a gallery, participating in an art class, or simply taking a walk around a neighborhood enhanced by public art ….” NEA Chairman Rocco Landesman

The Cultural Council is about to open it’s new exhibit of 22 Palm Beach County artists on May 5 – Aug. 4, 2012    The exhibits here are four months long so only 4 opportunities a year for our area artists.   That, is a sad statement for the state of the art exhibition space they have.   Remember our CRA  Community Redevelopment Agency assisted with funds.
