support your local community

Many events occur on the Cultural Plaza in the LULA district, like the Earth Day Peace Jam, planned for this Saturday or the appearance of the Taiko drummers from Tampa this last Saturday.    Many months ago there was a tree festival event on the Cultural Plaza, I purchased a raffle ticket, it didn’t matter what for as it was to support their cause, well, I won.   Gave it no thought and tucked away the envelope, misplace the envelope, it resurfaced just this past week.  It was for Downtown PizzaNow I’ve heard via word of mouth that they were the best.  My guest loves pizza so we went, not quite sure they would honor this old ticket.  They did with a smile.

So many pizza pies to choose from, kept it simple.   Watched with amazement at the skill of my pineapple and ham pizza pie spinning.   Yesterday evening I passed these very attractive slim ladies with their massive order, one per pie.   Asked to take their photo, they declined.  🙂It pays to support your local community merchants and restauranteurs as they in turn support the special events in our community.  Thank You it was delicious loved the crust! This from someone who doesn’t even eat the crust of a normal pie.
